Manager of Project Management

Job Summary:

The Manager of Project Management at mPulse is responsible for leading cross-functional project teams to deliver high-impact initiatives aligned with organizational goals. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while optimizing processes and promoting collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate brings strategic insight, strong leadership, and a results-driven mindset to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of strategic and operational projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers and coordinators.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product, Engineering, Marketing, HR, Legal) to define project scopes, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and progress tracking.
• Facilitate regular status meetings and stakeholder updates to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Identify and resolve project roadblocks and escalate issues as needed.
• Establish and promote project management best practices, tools, and templates.
• Report on project metrics and outcomes to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement across the project management function.

Skills/Abilities/Experience:

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proven experience managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com).
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a healthcare, digital health, or tech environment preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification required.
• 5+ years of project management experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or people management role.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs. weight.
