As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in planning and managing project schedules through the project life cycle. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project timelines, ensuring that all aspects of construction projects are executed efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual who can work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using scheduling software Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to gather project requirements and timelines.
• Analyze project progress and identify any potential delays or issues, recommending solutions to maintain project schedules.
• Conduct regular status meetings to monitor project timelines and update stakeholders on progress.
• Prepare reports to communicate project scheduling status to management and team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and project specifications in all scheduling processes.
• Coordinate with procurement and resource management to ensure timely availability of materials and labor.
• Continuously evaluate scheduling processes and implement improvements for efficiency.
• Act as the main point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries and concerns.
Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Proven experience as a construction scheduler or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and scheduling techniques.
• Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., P6, Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
