Automation QA Engineer (m/f/d)

Deine Aufgaben

• You will design and implement high-quality automated tests for our software products utilizing tools such as Rest Assured with Java.
• You will maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework.
• You will provide feedback and implement necessary improvements to processes.
• You will be responsible for running automation suites and analyzing results.
• You will collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• You will actively participate in code reviews and offer insights on testability and automation prospects.
• You will contribute to the continuous enhancement of our software development processes by actively engaging in the Agile/Scrum process.
• You will identify and troubleshoot defects in the software.

Dein Profil

• You have at least 3 years of experience in automating tests with Java
• You are proficient  in Java programming
• You are proficient in automation tools including API testing frameworks like Rest-Assured and unit testing frameworks like TestNG or JUnit is required.
• You have a thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns used in automation testing
• Your core technical skills include strong experience in API/Web services testing.
• You are familiar with tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• You are experienced in testing REST APIs and proficiency with SQL/MongoDB for data retrieval are expected.
• You have experience with version control systems and CI/CD processes (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket)
• You have worked with agile development methodologies
• You possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Your familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker is beneficial
