Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project management activities: Assist in managing resources, scope, and timelines.
- Break projects into manageable actions: Set timeframes and assign tasks to internal teams.
- Monitor project progress: Handle any issues that arise and ensure stakeholder needs are met.
- Work with BA/PM to prioritize work efforts and task as required
- Track task progress and send reminders before due dates
- Schedule and organize project meetings
- Take meeting minutes and track follow up actions
- Maintain and manage RAID logs
- Coordinate stakeholder reviews and manage sign off on all project deliverables
- Ensure all necessary materials and resources are available.
- Act as the point of contact: Communicate project status to all IT managers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation: Plans, dashboards and status reports.
- Update, manage and maintain version control of shared project documents
- Ensure all deliverables are complete and meet standards
- Assist with budget tracking and invoice processing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Typically in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications: Project management certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) is an asset.
- Project Management Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in coordinating projects or events
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Project management methodologies: Familiarity with various methodologies like Agile & Waterfall.
