PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

We are looking for a GIWH OEM Products Development Engineer who will work on gas water heater OEM products development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• The main responsibility is to manage OEM project from kicking off to SOP, including technical part (benchmark, cost analysis, 3D/2D drawing design, mockup making, testing, BOM creating etc.).
• Follow up whole process of project plan, such as concept design, tooling, material, sample validation, certification, field test, pre-series, SOP.
• Schedule regular meeting with OEM supplier to follow up all open topics at supplier side.
• Schedule regular meeting with project team to make sure information updated among team.
• Coordinate with QA team and suppliers to evaluate defects found in the field and give technical proposal.
• Support product manager and procurement team to make technical evaluation if needed.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications：

• Bachelor degree, mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Familiar with GB 6932 and EN26.
• Able to use Solidworks, CAD, Illustrator to make design independently.
• Good command of spoken and written in English, can use English for basic communication.

 

The ideal candidates:

• At least 3 years working experience related to gas water heater development.
• Can use SAP to creat BOM and maintain material properties.
• Can accept business trip if needed. (mainly short-term).
• Good communication skills, can keep stable emotion.
