Job Description
We are looking for an Application Engineer specialist who can help us analyze and solve potential problems that might occur in the E-commerce & Supply Chain process.
As an Application Support Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be part of a leading team of App Support specialists and work on projects that make an impact on business..
About the project
A major European retailer is using an application to govern all the prices for the products they sell. That application requires human overview and interventions if needed in order to ensure that the client has the correct data at any point in time. This project will give you an insight into how the backend of E-commerce works.
Your team
Our team is composed of 4 people working in 24/7 shifts and 1 that works during regular business hours to provide additional support when the workload is higher or more complex.
Responsabilities
- Ensure that the online platform and all its supporting tools are up and running;
- Help users and colleagues with their respective incidents
- Be proactive and ensure that the store databases are error free and the data is correct
Qualifications
- Willingness to work on 24/7 shifts (12 hours day and night shifts in rotation)
- A technical background with basic database knowledge and good client facing skills
- Experience in using ticketing systems and a good comprehension of E-commerce processes
- Very good communication skills and high attention to details
- Be able to recognize problems and gather information in order to solve them
- Strong analytical approach and reasoning skills
- Proactivity, involvement and teamwork are also of great value
- Willingness to learn
- Good English skills (B2+), both written and spoken
