Responsibilities
- In compliance with the company policies, make recommendations regarding the hiring and dismissal of personnel in the department.
- Ensure necessary follow-up on/with employees based on their attendance or other HR/work related issues.
- Ensure ongoing training of all department employees, i.e. related to specific job, Safety and Environment, ISO and SQF Quality and ongoing personnel development.
- Update personnel files for attendance and training according to procedures.
- Uphold and enforce all the policies in our Personnel Policy Manual.
- Ensure any communication methods needed in addition to methods included in the ISO and SQF Quality System are implemented and used to ensure proper communication between the shifts.
- Establish a work environment of empowerment, commitment and teamwork in the department.
- Hold department meetings on a regular basis to ensure a high general information level, go through quality issues, etc.
- Ensure each shift is staffed with the appropriate number of employees within the limit of the approved budget.
- Assist in internal training when requested.
- Update and maintain personal knowledge.
- Through detailed planning, ensure that the work in the department is carried out efficiently and effectively in QA Department and QA Rework.
- Ensure all activities and registrations are carried out in compliance with the ISO and SQF Quality System requirements.
- Ensure the daily quality control is carried out according to instructions and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and develop new control methods.
- Ensure that all required ISO and SQF documentation is filled out on each shift and maintain registration files.
- Responsible for sending out samples and necessary documentation for hygienic tests.
- Update and approve the W/C bible, Quality Tolerances, Technical Data-sheets and Packing Bible for all product lines based on i.e. Article Tests.
- Maintain and update collection of approved production masters [molding and decoration.]
- Responsible for carrying out calibration plan.
- Ensure that the quality verification equipment is only used by trained personnel.
- Maintain data for "Product on Hold."
- Inform sample room when products have been changed.
Perform special QA Test and/or reports:
- Perform tests related to customer complaints.
- Perform special customer related tests and COA if requested.
- Perform tests when requested by Quality Manager.

Previous QA experience
Manufacturing experience
Strong Leadership Skills
Computer skills
Green belt or above
