We’re looking for a PR & Sponsorships Coordinator to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the PR and Sponsorships Lead, this role is key to the delivery of our sponsorship across three regions (AU, UK, and US), specifically focused on our partnership with the Visa Cash App RB Formula 1 Team. In addition, this role also involves supporting Airtasker’s PR program in Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape how Airtasker shows up in the media and on the global stage through a world-class sports sponsorship.
What you'll do:
Global Sponsorship (F1 Focused):
Coordinate and help activate Airtasker’s sponsorship of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) Formula 1 Team.
Own and manage all admin and workflow documentation between Airtasker and VCARB to ensure projects run smoothly, and information is shareable and transparent to all relevant stakeholders.
Act as the day-to-day point of contact for our sponsorship partner, building strong working relationships and partnership cadences.
Liaise with global stakeholders to maximise the impact of the sponsorship in alignment with key market race events.
Work cross-functionally to keep the sponsorship relevant and top of mind, managing cross-channel delivery across paid and organic social, PR, events, local activations, product (website/landing pages), and CRM.
Manage race weekend logistics including coordination of Airtasker team and guests race attendance i.e. manage travel plans, arrange ticket allocations, plan weekend schedule of events and more.
Manage sponsorship rights and asset delivery, including branding, content production, hospitality, and talent access.
Track and report on sponsorship performance and ROI based on pre-set KPIs and related metrics (both for the sponsorship as a whole and for individual activations or activities throughout the year).
Public Relations (AU Focused):
Support the execution of Airtasker’s PR strategy in Australia.
Assist in developing media materials, including press releases, media kits, Tasker merchandise mail-outs, briefing documents, and Q&As.
Own and manage admin and workflow documentation between Airtasker and agencies.
Liaise with external PR agencies and support PR lead in day-to-day management.
Engage with and coordinate stakeholders as relevant and necessary.
Coordinate selection and communication with Airtasker case studies that will be used for PR, social and sponsorship activities.
Support reactive and proactive media opportunities.
Monitor media coverage and track performance metrics.
What it takes to be successful in this role:
3-4 years experience in sponsorship or partnerships, and ideally PR or related marketing roles (agency or in-house).
Demonstrated experience working on sponsorships (F1 or other global sports, a major bonus).
Strong stakeholder management, working directly with both internal and external executives.
Ability to execute multi-layered campaigns – including ideation, implementation, and delivery – with attention to managing numerous elements and moving parts.
Has a flair for creativity and the ability to develop ideas that are not only imaginative but also actionable and impactful.
Writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong admin and project management skills, being proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Passion for storytelling and finding earned media angles that resonate with consumers and media.
A genuine interest in sport, culture, and global brand-building.
