The Role:
Responsible for the design and delivery of the global retail visual merchandising guidelines, this role partners and collaborates with Creative and Commercial teams to translate the brand vision into stores.
Hybrid working applies to this role, with at least 3 days per week in our Kensington Office and maximum 2 days per week working from home. The role will also require regular travel to stores.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising:
· Create Visual Merchandising guidelines for Full Price, Off Price and Wholesale bringing excitement to the retail stores by supporting the brand positioning, while balancing the commercial needs of the business· In collaboration with the Product Director, creative teams and country retail leaders, define visual guidelines for the brand ensuring guidance is set for the global store network ensuring a consistent visual identity.· Develop a structured visual merchandising calendar based on window changes, merchandise delivery drops and press/marketing installations events.· Present and create imaginative and effective visual merchandising stories that are in line with the seasonal design & commercial needs of the business.· Present and create areas of theatre installations in all visual display areas that are in line with the company seasonal window calendar.· Partner with the merchandising teams and retail managers to review product selections for new and existing stores using a commercial yet creative mind-set· Design and develop innovative instore POS · Create VM seasonal guidelines from buy for training manual for all retail networks from Full Price, Off Price and Wholesale· Communicate with regional Visual Merchandisers and store teams to ensure knowledge and guidelines are cascaded.· Create a reporting system to allow visibility monthly of all global stores.· Manage the annual budget and take part in the annual budgeting process · Maintain strong, meaningful and lasting relationships with Franchise and Wholesale Partners getting their “buy in” to seasonal visual changes· Provide ongoing feedback and training to all VM team members globally, promoting consistent standards.· Conduct monthly in-store rotations of Global Flagship stores to maintain standards and update presentations.· Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely production and installation of required POS materials.· Organise showroom setups four times annually for seasonal handovers, including planning, ordering, setup, and presentation.· Maintain and reset showrooms regularly for both external appointments and internal key meetings.· Develop floorplans and renders for all new store openings.· Collaborate closely with the Store Design team to ensure key VM information and supporting documents are delivered for each new store.· Work alongside Buying, Merchandising, and Product Merchandising teams to create consistent product packages tailored for each region.
Events:
· Work with both regional and central marketing teams to bring synergy on creative for all regional events.· Create effective displays for marketing events.· Communicate with suppliers on orders for events managing budgets.· Support accounts in seasonal changes and install, including sourcing prop suppliers and merchandising.· Support with creating Pop Ups with visual floorplans and supporting renders
Training:
· Guide the store visual merchandising teams with the seasonal VM. · Liaising with Retail Managers & General Managers, identify stores who need support and set–up VM training sessions to support with visual standards and techniques.· Work with store teams and train on visual standards and new techniques, utilising any appropriate training materials available from the Training & Communications team.

Skills and Experience Required: - Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with substantial Visual Merchandising experience within fashion brands.- Previous experience managing budgets and guidelines globally. - Applies creativity and innovative thinking to produce sustainable and engaging solutions.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to impart detailed information in a clear and straightforward manner across a range of audiences and stakeholders.- Quick thinking with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- Innovative and creative thinker, idea generator.- Well-organised and efficient with strong planning capabilities.- Ability to work to multiple, competing deadlines.- Strong Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator knowledge.- Flexibility to travel as required.
