Air Liquide Healthcare Australia are a leading and dedicated supplier of medical gases, homecare and sleep services. We specialise in respiratory diseases and have a strong reputation in sleep diagnostics and CPAP therapy.

As a State Manager for Air Liquide Healthcare, you will be a key leader responsible for the overall success and growth of our business within SA and WA. You will drive sales, manage operating income, and lead your team to achieve their objectives. This pivotal role involves overseeing all state activities, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and championing our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare solutions to our customers and patients.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • Drive Business Growth: Responsible for achieving the state's sales and operating income objectives , implementing national strategies, and negotiating new business and contracts in partnership with National Managers.
  • Lead and Develop Your Team: Train, and coach your direct reports, setting performance objectives, and providing ongoing support to ensure all staff are properly trained and qualified.
  • Champion Safety and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of OH&S and environmental matters, ensuring safe practices are followed across the state and that all activities comply with our quality management system and regulatory requirements.
  • Enhance Market Presence: Promote Air Liquide Healthcare by building relationships with key industry decision-makers, managing the state's agent network, and ensuring wide access to our products and services.
  • Oversee State Operations: Manage the allocation of state resources, conduct regular audits, and report to senior management on financial performance, new business potential, and market activity.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Tertiary education in business, marketing or related field
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing within the medical device industry
  • Strong management, operations, and business development skills
  • Proven leadership ability with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • High-level computer literacy, including experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and CRM/invoicing systems
  • The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, staff, and customers
