PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Clinical Services Initiatives Manager plays a critical role in coordinating and facilitating the successful implementation of enterprise clinical initiatives across Fresenius Kidney Care. In collaboration with the Clinical Services Initiatives leadership team and in partnership with Nursing and Clinical Services, Operations, the Global Medical Office, and other stakeholders, this role supports programs that drive measurable improvements in clinical practice, care delivery, and patient outcomes.
This position provides strategic and operational support for designated initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Medical Quality Agenda and broader enterprise transformation goals. Responsibilities include developing implementation strategies, coordinating cross-functional execution plans, supporting frontline clinical teams, and contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides clinical insight and subject matter expertise to support the effective delivery of quality patient care and improved outcomes, in alignment with the Medical Quality Agenda and FKC Quality Standards.
· Facilitates the implementation of clinical initiatives as directed by leadership, ensuring consistency with strategic goals and operational expectations.
· Coordinates activities across Clinical Services Initiatives programs, including supporting field-facing staff and collaborating with internal partners to address clinical quality opportunities.
· Conducts site visits as needed to support initiative implementation, assess practice alignment, and gather insights from clinic teams.
· Collaborates with field teams, Nursing and Clinical Services, Operations, Global Medical Office, and other departments to meet clinical and operational goals.
· Applies knowledge of clinical workflows, technology, and care delivery processes to assist in the design and implementation of enterprise initiatives.
· Contributes to the development and execution of initiatives that support value-based care programs and other risk-based arrangements, including strategies aimed at improving outcomes, lowering cost of care, and enhancing care coordination.
· Participates in the evaluation and continuous improvement of information systems and tools used in support of clinical initiatives.
· Supports the broader Clinical Services Initiatives team by interpreting organizational policies, aligning program delivery, and responding to evolving clinical and operational needs across the field.
· Maintains expertise in FKC policies, structure, and regulatory requirements to provide effective program coordination and guidance.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
· Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Registered Nurse or Registered Dietitian as per Commission on Dietetic Registration with active unrestricted nursing/ dietetic licensure in practicing state – with the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
· Minimum 5 years of Nephrology Nursing, specifically hemodialysis.
· Exemplary Customer Service
· Demonstrated ability to support clinical programs, facilitate change, and collaborate effectively across functions
· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
· Proficient in Microsoft Office365 applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
· Project or case management experience preferred yet not required.
· Must exhibit leadership skills and be able to collaborate with clinic staff.
· Understanding of renal and diabetes disease process and current management practices.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
· Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
· Comfortable engaging with clinical teams, physicians, and cross-functional partners in both virtual and on-site settings
· Self-directed and able to work independently while aligning to shared goals
· Ability to adapt messaging and communication styles across varying levels of education and clinical expertise.
This position supports the implementation of enterprise clinical initiatives in a field-based capacity, working directly with dialysis clinics to coordinate care delivery changes and operational workflows. This is a field-based position requiring 80–90% travel, including multi-day and overnight visits to clinic locations across the U.S. Travel expectations may shift as program needs change or as the role evolves to support additional clinical initiatives.
The initial priority for this role is the execution of the enterprise Hemodiafiltration (HDF) strategy through consistent, scalable implementation following 5008X deployment. This includes guiding clinics through readiness, workflow coordination, provider engagement, scheduling, and on-site support to ensure successful adoption.
Key Responsibilities
• Serves as a clinical implementation expert supporting the field-based deployment of enterprise clinical initiatives.
• Partners directly with clinic teams to ensure effective execution of new therapies and models of care aligned with organizational standards.
• Collaborates with nurses, providers, and local leaders to support treatment planning, order workflows, electronic medical record use, and operational readiness.
• Provides on-site support to help coordinate schedules, reinforce clinical workflows, and strengthen team competencies.
• Guides clinics through transitions in care delivery, ensuring smooth implementation and sustained adoption of strategic initiatives.
• Maintains clear, ongoing communication with stakeholders and contributes to deployment tracking and documentation.
• Collaborates closely with Nursing and Clinical Services, Operations, Global Medical Office, Information Technology Services (ITS), and other key stakeholders to align efforts and ensure successful outcomes.
• Acts as a field liaison, surfacing barriers, sharing feedback, and supporting continuous improvement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
