Job Overview

The Leadership, Learning & Talent Partner will proactively partner with the UK business to deliver our first-class people strategy, aligned with attracting and retaining talent, embedding performance development and fostering a learning culture based on values and behaviours throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership

  • Collaboratively develop and embed the People Plan across the DUAL UK business, supporting its growth and future development.
  • Work with the DUAL UK Head of HR, Howden Group Head of Talent and Leadership and Development (L&D) team to formulate the learning and talent framework, budget, and delivery.
  • Partner with the Group HR Centres of Excellence (e.g., HRES, L&D, Recruitment, HRIS, Reward) to continuously improve offerings to the business, supporting them to achieve their highest potential.

Learning and Development

  • Establish and enhance a profound learning culture, considering the full learning lifecycle (needs analysis, design, delivery, facilitation, coaching, and measuring impact).
  • Provide technical L&D expertise and guidance to the DUAL UK HR team and business stakeholders to translate development needs into cost-efficient, effective, and compliant solutions.
  • Support and develop talent through high-performance culture initiatives, empowering managers with robust processes and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop a specialized portfolio of learning products and solutions.
  • Define L&D business needs and design and deliver value add training to tailor and enhance learning experience.

Innovation and Improvement

  • Utilize data from HRIS, People Surveys, and market intelligence to inform decision-making and drive positive change.
  • Design and develop commercially relevant learning solutions in partnership with the DUAL UK HR Business Partnering team and Group L&D team, conducting diagnostics and needs analysis.
  • Promote and implement best-in-class learning experiences from strategy to value delivery, incorporating industry-leading practices.

Operational Excellence

  • Deliver engaging induction plans for new starters and integrating businesses, in collaboration with HRBPs.
  • Administer learning schedules, maintain participant records, and support the ongoing review and evaluation of learning materials, working with the Compliance team to review, monitor and enhance e -earning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and effectively utilize the apprenticeship levy.

Engagement and Inclusion

  • Actively participate in Group ERGs, networking, and events to provide insights and actions to improve inclusion, diversity, culture, and engagement.
  • Oversee and manage Early Careers Programs, apprenticeships, and corporate partnerships (e.g., King's Trust) for effective training and development execution.

Metrics and Reporting

  • Define and manage metrics/KPIs for the Head of HR and L&D team, analyzing training outcomes to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide key data and analytics to inform the learning strategy and ensure optimal delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior L&D role, with a track record of developing and implementing learning strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure impact.
  • Experience in defining, designing and delivering both virtual and in-person training sessions.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading learning practices and learning technologies.
