Associate Service Reliability Engineer

In this job you will:

Role Purpose

Seeking a detail-oriented Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to monitor and support batch processing systems for Amadeus products, ensuring timely and accurate data processing. The position requires strong communication and teamwork skills, participation in a 24x7 shift (primarily Sydney time zone).

Key Responsibilities

Monitor scheduled batch jobs.
Troubleshoot system errors and performance issues.
Maintain documentation and logs.
Coordinate with other departments for job dependencies.
Automate routine tasks and deployments using tools like Bash, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.

About the ideal candidate:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Open to fresh graduates with similar internship experience or at least 1 year of working experience
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows systems and networking.
Basic experience in monitoring alerts tool: Grafana, remedy, controlM is an advantage
Basic knowledge in Python, batch configuration tools, scripting
Basic understanding of automation routine tasks.
Familiar with cloud platforms.
Basic understanding of batch processing (e.g., Control-M, SFTP).
Familiar with batch scripting and system architecture.
Able to work independently and handle pressure.
Good communication skills, flexible, and strong customer support skills.
Amenable to work on a hybrid work setup, weekends, and holidays if necessary. Location: BGC, Taguig.
