Senior Reward Partner

Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for implementing the Reward strategy across various international locations across Flutter. With a strong execution focus, the role translates strategic reward direction into effective, local delivery and is responsible business partnering key functions across the Flutter group. This role will have strong understanding of internal reward practices and external market factors in the locations, with a focus on how reward can support the attraction, retention and engagement of talent. Success requires building trusted relationships with HR leaders and business partners to ensure reward initiatives are practical, aligned with business needs, and well-communicated.
 

Key duties and accountabilities (non-exhaustive)

Strategy Implementation & Partner Engagement

  • Act as the reward partner for HR and business collaborators in the locations
  • Ensure the day to day reward operations are delivered effectively.
  • Build trusted, influential relationships to ensure reward solutions meet business needs.
  • Partner with the wider reward team to ensure the needs of the locations are considered appropriately in any wider reward initiatives or strategies.
  • Partner with Group compensation and benefits teams to ensure that the approach and programmes are aligned to location requirements and target colleague experience.
  • Represent the voice of the locations to shape the future direction of reward programmes.

Programme Delivery & Governance

  • Lead all reward cycles (e.g., annual compensation review, bonus planning, equity nominations etc) for the locations.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of reward programmes through local HR teams.
  • Educates people teams on reward practices and programmes so that they can represent reward to their business teams and drive consistent practices.
  • Own governance and compliance standards; call out risks as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement robust governance frameworks for reward activity.

Analysis & Benchmarking

  • Provide and facilitate input into pay benchmarking, structure design, and compensation analysis.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Reward management and business partnering experience gained within an international organisation with multiple business units and locations, covering:
  • Translation of strategic reward objectives into actionable reward initiatives relevant to specific business units or areas
  • Partnership and collaboration with key business partners to ensure effective planning, communication and delivery of new initiatives and cyclical BAU activity
  • Leading contribution to projects requiring reward input; assessing impacts and defining appropriate requirements and resource support.
  • Expert reward practitioner that demonstrates comprehensive understanding of all reward subject areas and how they work together to deliver total reward strategy, demonstrates expertise in designing and completing reward initiatives that address evolving business needs, understands impact of global labour markets and local governance on reward practice.
  • Expert in management data insights design and application: uses and develops data insights to guide and inform strategic decision making; defines data requirements and guides development and update of data and insights by others.
  • Ensure equity, fairness, and competitiveness in compensation decisions.

Communication & Engagement

  • Lead reward communications to ensure clarity and engagement for the locations.
  • Drive employee understanding of total rewards using platforms like Peakon.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Contribute to Group-wide initiatives (e.g., M&A integration, harmonisation, and employee experience improvements).
