Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Client & Distributor Onboarding
    Support onboarding processes for clients and distributors, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

  • KYC/KYD Reviews
    Conduct thorough Know Your Client (KYC) and Know Your Distributor (KYD) checks to mitigate financial crime risks.

  • Sales Team Collaboration
    Partner with sales teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and effective client engagement.

  • Operational Risk Management

    • Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across client servicing and sales support functions.

    • Support the execution of risk mitigation plans and incident management processes.

    • Maintain risk registers and contribute to internal audits and risk reviews.

  • Guidance & Advisory
    Provide guidance and training to sales channels on risk-related matters and regulatory expectations.

  • Regulatory & Legal Liaison
    Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure alignment with evolving regulatory standards.

Job Specifications:

Qualification         

  • Preferably a degree or equivalent in Business/ Finance/ Risk Management.  

Experience            

  • At least 3-5 years experience in business support, compliance, or risk management preferably related to investment industry.

Qualities Desired

  • Comprehensive knowledge of investment products & sales are preferred.

  • Proactive, organized and resourceful.

  • Strong team player.

Knowledge                                    

  • Familiar with financial and capital markets

  • Good analytical, problem solving skills and resourceful

  • Strong in interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good time management skills

  • Have good written skills in two languages: either English and Malay OR English and Mandarin.

  • Good PC working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite in addition skills in extracting and arranging huge data by using pivot table, drawing charts etc.
