Title: Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics

Department: Aesthetics – Commercial Development

Location: Dallas or remote

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics, Aesthetics Revenue Growth Management will be the customer / consumer related data analytics subject matter expert for the Aesthetics business unit. This role will leverage data, manage multiple sources, and technology to optimize marketing, sales & finance to uncover recommendations for the business. This position will challenge “the way things have always been done” to drive fact based, data driven decision to drive favorable revenue growth.

The person in this role will be a critical member of the Galderma Aesthetics team – a forward-thinking, fast-moving, successful team that grasps the benefits of challenging the status quo. This position will collaborate with the Galderma Aesthetics marketing teams by leveraging data to develop tools and recommendations in support of critical business decisions.


Key Responsibilities

Business Support (50%)

  • Provide insights to drive business strategy and support growth. Present analyses to all levels of management summarizing analytical approach, data metrics, and key action items
  • Increase internal customer-first thinking, tell the story through voice of customer data analysis and reporting, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend key opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with all levels of Sales, Marketing and Finance teams, as well as vendors to gather, analyze, prepare, and present data-based recommendations and solutions regarding all aspects of the business, including sales results, business plans, trended future requirements, profitability improvement strategies, etc.
  • Lead analytics process with the broader team inclusive of Gross to Net (GTN) forecasting, marketing program ROI (Pre and Post) and digital spend optimization.
  • Support the end-to-end strategy for B2B customer pricing and engagement to achieve corporate objectives – inclusive of rewards, product discounting, engagement.
  • Analyze customer purchasing patterns

Maximize / Leverage Technology and Automation (20%)

  • Utilize a variety of predictive analytics techniques to create understanding out of current and historical data
  • Champion and support adoption of BI tools across organization. Monitor usage statistics for BI tools, collaborating with customers to provide input on future enhancements. Provide data validation and testing for upgrades, provide ad hoc training to end users
  • Creates, leverages, and coordinates use of in-house, and vendor provided sales & marketing databases

Collaboration (20%)

  • Collaborate with all internal teams to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and workflow improvement/automation
  • Partner with GBU and US marketing teams to develop standardized reporting & tracking

Other (10%)

  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a college/university required; Master's degree (MA/MS/MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum seven years of experience analyzing and interpreting large sets of data and drawing conclusions to make insightful recommendations.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL and at least one data visualization platforms such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Expert proficiency with one or more data science tools (R, Python, etc.)
  • Strong communicator and influencer, collaborating and influencing at all levels of the company, and regularly brief executive leadership.
  • Ability to manage high degrees of complexity, as well as working across a matrix environment
