About The Role:
As a Senior Claims Officer, you’ll lead the accurate and timely management of funding claims and incentive payments across Job Pathways programs (Employment Services, NDIS, and other business units). You’ll safeguard data integrity, meet contractual obligations, support audit readiness, and collaborate with operational teams to capture and process all claimable activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lodge timely, accurate outcome and milestone claims across Employment Services, NDIS, and other funded programs in line with funding body requirements.
- Track and validate employer incentive payments, employment placements, and participation activities.
- Resolve discrepancies, interpret guidelines, and ensure compliance with evolving funding frameworks.
- Maintain up-to-date tracking for placements, incentives, outcomes, participation, and forecast models (e.g., Employment Service Targets/NDIS service hours); identify streamlining opportunities.
- Use ESS Web, Brevity, PRODA, DEX, and MyPlace Portal for analysis, submissions, and reporting; maintain high-quality data and contribute to process refinement.
- Ensure evidence-based, audit-ready claims; support remittance reviews, internal audits, and broader program compliance functions.
- Work closely with operations, finance, quality, case managers, and frontline teams to validate claimable activities.
- Follow WHS instructions and policies; uphold Job Pathways’ quality principles; demonstrate culturally responsive ways of working with Aboriginal clients, staff, and communities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated experience managing claims in government-funded programs (e.g., CDP, NDIS, Workforce Australia).
- Strong knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements linked to funding contracts.
- Proficiency in claims platforms such as ESS, DEX, and PRODA.
- Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail; ability to interpret funding guidelines and submit evidence-based claims.
Preferred:
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Community Services, Finance, or related field; prior experience in Indigenous employment or disability services.
