We have an exciting Renewable Natural Gas Reliability Manager opportunity in our Guymon, OK office. The RNG Reliability Manager supervises and directs day-to-day activities of employees in the RNG Maintenance department. Responsible for maintaining all RNG equipment and associated assets and providing operations support to ensure reliability of all equipment. Provides data-driven recommendations in all RNG associated projects and oversees management of projects in the RNG department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all maintenance operations including installation of equipment, preventive maintenance and repair work. This includes the maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, control, and mechanical equipment, gas processing systems, and refrigeration systems.
  • Facilitate with SBF personnel and outside contractors for the purchase of maintenance parts and supplies, champions continuous improvement on processes, service, cost efficiency, warehousing, and safety for maintenance department.
  • Interviewing, selecting, training, developing, evaluating and providing feedback to employees.
  • Controlling operational expenses and assisting with departmental budgeting, including projecting and justifying additional equipment and resource needs.
  • Oversees construction projects, manages budgets and estimated costs, prepares status reports and project development.
  • Responsible for generating all needed information to support, develop and submit AFEs for projects.
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Inspects maintenance jobs performed by subordinate employees or outside contractors for quality and adherence to job specs.
  • Ensures work orders are assigned and audit action item work completed, documented, and tracked.
  • Identifies and tracks the skills training and development needs of each team member and ensures assignments of mechanics to specific jobs are relative to individual abilities.
  • Ensures that good housekeeping and safe work practices are followed throughout the facility.
  • Provides support and leadership in troubleshooting equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

  • High school diploma and college degree preferred; or 10+ year’s related experience or training; or combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to interpret and/or carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Must possess a current valid driver’s license and an acceptable MVR.
  • Ability to be on call as needed. Ability to work beyond normal hours when needed.
  • Ability to perform basic computer operations involving Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PPT, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of the following required: pumps, compressors, piping systems, ADL gas processing equipment, construction standards, safety and biosecurity requirements, project management organization, and providing coaching to maintenance staff

  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and fumes or airborne particles, most times outside in ambient conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to waste materials, feed and hog dust.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but sometimes very loud.
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Normal hours are 40 hours a week during daytime.  After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
