IPEX currently has an exciting opportunity as a Director of Sales-Retail, based out of Charlotte NC, or Atlanta Georgia.

As our Director of Sales – Retail, USA, you’ll lead a dynamic team in driving growth across the U.S. retail channel. This is not just a sales role—it’s a leadership opportunity to shape the future of our retail strategy in a wholesale-centric organization. We’re looking for someone with sharp instincts, and a relentless drive to win. Travel will be 35% of the time.

🔑 What You’ll Do:

• Lead with vision: Inspire and guide a high-performing sales team to exceed targets and deliver commercial excellence.
• Strategize for impact: Build and execute winning strategies for DIY and hardware retail customers.
• Drive growth: Identify new opportunities, expand market share, and elevate our presence in the U.S. retail landscape.
• Build relationships: Cultivate strong, lasting partnerships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
• Champion talent: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within your team.
• Own the numbers: Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics with precision and accountability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and more to align on goals and deliver results.

🎯 What You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (Advanced degree or certifications a plus).
• Experience: 10+ years in senior sales roles, ideally within retail and wholesale environments.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams.
• Industry Insight: Deep understanding of DIY and hardware retail channels.
• Resilience: Strategic mindset, and a bias for action.
• Data Analytics: Fluency in predictive analytics, customer insights and sales automation tools.
