We are seeking a mid-level iOS Developer to join our team and help deliver top-notch cyber protection on mobile platforms to millions of users in over 50 countries. As part of our Embedded team, you'll develop SDK capabilities for 3rd party applications, contributing to our product strategy and its success.

You'll collaborate with our international team of developers and quality engineers, bringing your coding and problem-solving skills along with enthusiasm for diving deep into technical challenges and debugging complex issues. Our embedded team builds the core framework and capabilities essential for F-Secure's growth and future, and this role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and skill development.

Our team is based in Helsinki and we work in a hybrid model: you can work from home most of the time, but we'd love to see you in the office now and then too. We just renovated our office spaces to make them work better for everyone. Our hiring process

Our hiring process consists of two interview rounds. First, you'll have an introduction interview with the hiring manager and our Talent Acquisition. In the second round, you will dive deeper into technical discussions, as well as team and culture fit.

Key responsibilities:

• Contributing to feature development and maintenance of our existing iOS SDK capabilities with guidance from senior team members
• Debugging and troubleshooting complex technical issues in iOS applications and SDKs - we value developers who enjoy diving deep into technical problems
• Learning and applying iOS technologies: we'll help you dive deep into our core technologies to build an end-to-end understanding of how we protect consumers
• Contributing to mobile/iOS app and SDK development through hands-on coding, code reviews, and technical collaboration, with opportunities to grow the role
• Staying current with iOS platform development trends and Apple policies with support from the team
• Tools & Process Development: Code or create tools to streamline development workflows and process improvement
• Working independently on assigned features while collaborating effectively with the team

Who are we looking for?

• Solid proficiency in Swift with about 2-4 years of iOS development experience and familiarity with iOS frameworks
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and basic test automation, and ambition for quality testing: you understand how good tests make refactoring safer, especially important when improving existing code.
• Comfortable with collaborative coding and working in a team environment, participating in code reviews both within your team and across other teams, providing constructive feedback and iterating on solutions
• Understanding of iOS development best practices and design patterns
• Enthusiasm for debugging and problem-solving - you should enjoy spending time investigating and solving technical issues
• Full professional proficiency in English, as that is our organizational language
