Category Specialist

As Category Specialist, you will be supporting the Category Manager with analysis of the commercial carpet portfolio, its profitability and its evolutions/improvements during its lifetime and contribute in the launch of new collections throughout the year. What will you be doing?

• Consolidate knowledge of markets, draw conclusions, detect macro / mid-term trends;
• Recommend new business opportunities based on business cases and strategical analysis;
• Support the Category Manager in the development of a 3 year strategic implementation plan, based on the key identified strategic objectives, including specific actions to increase market share in the carpet category;
• Answer questions of the Sales Networks regarding the products and the product category;
• Support in the organization and execution of regular market visits, customer meetings and continuous alignment with Sales Networks;
• Exchange and share best practices and learnings with other Segments and Category Managers;
• Collect competitive information and maintain competitive material bank and database;

Who Are You?

• Bachelor level or Master’s Degree in International Business or similar;
• Marketing or category experience is a pre, but not required;
• Previous commercial experience, especially in an international environment, is a pre;
• Analytical;
• Strong customer-focus; 
• Good organisation and planning skill;
• Excellent understanding of English language both written and spoken.
