Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends or holidays)

Position Summary

The Patient Services Representative plays a key role in ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate recordkeeping. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and directing patients and visitors professionally.

• Scheduling appointments and collecting necessary medical information.

• Explaining departmental and hospital policies, including charges.

• Validating and entering charges into appropriate systems.

• Collecting payments and verifying insurance details.

• Answering incoming calls and routing them appropriately.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Preferred:

• Experience in a healthcare setting.

• Familiarity with medical coding (ICD-10, CPT).

• Ability to interpret insurance information.

• Knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology.
