Lead Digital Product Manager (Hybrid)

Your role in the team

Job Profile Summary
The Product Manager Senior Expert is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of two or more products in Allstate’s growing product portfolio. Product Manager Senior Expert manages strategic product vision, product discovery and roadmaps to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their product. Product Manager Senior Expert also collaborates with a Product Marketing Manager to plan and execute an integrated marketing plan to support market awareness and adoption for their product, as applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Authors, tests, and accepts stories.
• Define and manage metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy.
• Contribute towards creating the product strategy for one or more products in our growing digital product portfolio.
• Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on decisions about product strategy.
• Provide input on decomposing complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for the Product Team.
• Manages the product backlog, contributes towards creating an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations.
• Represent the “voice of the customer”; invest significant time with current and potential customers to understand their needs and habits.
• Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction.

Essential criteria 

• All candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Allstate is unable to provide sponsorship for this position.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Digital Product Manager
• Must have experience in one or more of the following: COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS, DB2, VSAM, and z/OS fundamentals.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tooling 
• Experience of development processes, human centered design, UX/UI design, and digital marketing
• Demonstrable experience in effectively communicating complex and innovative product concepts to cross-functional development teams.
• Proven ability to apply data-driven decision-making to influence product direction and prioritization.
• Strong, proven capability in breaking down complex initiatives into incremental and iterative deliverables aligned with Agile best practices.
• Definite product performance metrics & monitor product performance using analytics tools and make data-driven decisions. 

Desirable Experience

• Understanding of the system behaviors, how batch and online transactions work, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with RACF, encryption standards, and audit requirements—especially in regulated industries like Insurance or Finance
