This role will be tasked with delivering best in class LEGO® (online, mobile and omnichannel) shopper and consumer experiences in conjunction with the LEGO digital strategy. The objective is to put the shopper and consumer at the center, while driving engagement, conversions, revenue, profitability and a strong partnership with numerous retailers. Your core objectives are to improve LEGO across E-Commerce and media with regards to findability, viewability, shoppability and measureabilty. We are looking for someone who is an agent for change and who is able to conceptualize and implement innovation.
Please note: The position will be based in our LEGO® Sales Office in Grasbrunn, close to Munich and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely. Relocation support is not offered.
Core Responsibilities
Innovation Scouting & Creation: Stay in touch with trends in the retail industry (E-Commerce, Omnichannel and Brick&Mortar) to develop ideas, concepts, tests and scalable solutions to improve LEGO brand positioning and to deliver short and long term commercial success.
Promotional Planning & Implementation: Plan and deploy performance marketing and drive period campaigns for LEGO on own and earned/negotiated third party media. Maintain and evolve dynamic advertising, campaign CMS tools, retail media group partnerships and data based advertising solution.
Merchandizing of the LEGO products and Brand: You are responsible for how the LEGO Products and Brand are seen and perceived on retailer websites. Distribute and position assets, obtain space for our products, storytelling and offerings. Use toolboxes and guidelines to establish a strong foundation and use your creativity and skills to create unique consumer, shopper and user experiences.
Consistent Brand Execution: Collaborate across the LEGO Group to ensure the consumer and shopper experience are consistent across all channels, touchpoints and geographies in delivering the LEGO Brand values. Use cross-functional insights and analytics to develop omni-channel shopper strategies that achieve excellent execution with consistency at all points of purchase.
Brand deployment: Use, develop and improve LEGO technology stack with partners to deploy and scale the utilization of impactful assets, driving novelty, awareness, engagement and conversion. Establish technology at retail partners to automate and simplify asset deployment and data exchange.
Agency & Brand partnerships: Work with existing and connect with leading agencies as well as retailers and other brands to complete planned campaigns/promotions and to distill findings and insights. Build pilots and scale solutions.
Collaborator Management: closely collaborate with Account Management, Digital Marketing and Retailers to increase conversion and brand engagement through the year. Engage with our regional Center of Excellence in E-Commerce to absorb standard methodologies, cross-country alignments but also share standard methodologies to the others. Bring your eCommerce inputs to cross-functional teams such as Seasonal Squad and Parents of Girls Squad.
Competency Building: support in building E-Commerce and Digital competencies across the organization. Make sure you stay up to date on the latest trends and industry standards in E-Commerce.
Play your part in our team succeeding
This position provides exposure and collaboration with a wide range of collaborators within the organization at local (Sales, Brand, Digital Marketing, Operations) and Regional level (WE B2B E-Com Center of Excellence). We are looking for an E-Commerce expert who is ready to elevate the Omnichannel/E-Com roadmaps of our key accounts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to the next level.
Do you have what it takes?
Several years of working experience in an E-Commerce or omnichannel marketing environment with a focus on driving innovation and solutions
Proven track record in the area of technology, innovation or consumer & shopper engagement
Experience in a performance marketing, omnichannel role or with an agency (consumer package goods accounts) preferably
Experienced in project management and agile ways of working
Known for creativity and getting things done
Advanced solution selling skills, assertiveness
Strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent German and strong English language skills (written & spoken)
