The HR Intern will provide comprehensive support to the Human Resources team across a variety of functions, including employee records management, internal communications, training coordination, and compliance documentation. This role involves maintaining HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality, assisting with audits and reporting, and contributing to employee engagement initiatives. The intern will help organize events, prepare materials, and participate in HR projects and process improvements. While primarily office-based, the position includes occasional visits to the production floor to assist with employee check-ins, training, and safety-related tasks. Additional responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling meetings, and providing general administrative support. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Job/Position main responsibilities
• Participates in, understands, supports, and adheres to all Safety and Quality policies and requirements.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
• Contribute to employee engagement programs and internal communications
• Help prepare HR reports, presentations, and documentation for compliance and audits
• Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives
• Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed
• Maintain and update personnel files and ensure documentation is accurate and confidential.
• Help coordinate training sessions, prepare materials, and track employee participation.
• Occasionally visit the production floor to support employee check-ins, distribute materials, or assist with training and safety initiatives.
• this position will extract data from systems and different facilities to prepare standard HR reports coordinating data from different locations.
• Scans documents for electronic files while maintaining confidentiality and documentation integrity.
• Help organize employee events, draft internal communications, and support morale-boosting activities.
• Assist with ensuring company policies are communicated and followed and help with compliance documentation.
• Answer phones, schedule meetings, prepare reports, and support other HR team members as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Basic math & data skills: Comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets, and analyzing simple HR metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus

Duration: 6 months
Work Environment: On-site
Hours : 30 -40 hours per week
