Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Financial Leadership to Indirect Procurement MedTech and GPS in all regions through analysis and benchmarking of $1B savings & $14B spend.
  • Co-lead initiatives (Traceable Impact Program) driving Indirect Procurement spend optimization in collaboration with Business Unit Finance.
  • Play pivotal role in identifying and analyzing inflation for $20B spend of Indirect Procurement.
  • Provide actionable insights into the results and present them to the Procurement to support delivery of targets.
  • Develop new reporting tools to simplify and to increase visibility into the financial results.
  • Provide guidance on savings calculation and savings approval.
  • Partner with Procurement to develop Long Range Financial Plan for savings, spend and inflation and to proactively identify future opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Business Unit Finance to ensure correct savings reporting at Business Units level in MedTech.
  • Partner with and influence numerous internal and external stakeholders including Category Leaders, Business Unit Finance.
  • Drive adoption of tools like: Tableau, Power Query, Alteryx, Think Cell to visualize complex matter in a simple and effective way.
  • Other responsibilities may include support of ad hoc requests, projects and continuous improvement activities with an innovative mindset.

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of master’s degree, preferable in Finance and a minimum of two years of Finance experience is required.
  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling skills, and managing complexity experience is required.
  • The ability to influence and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, within a global matrix environment across multiple businesses is required.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Effective collaboration and high learning agility paired with accountability and excellence in execution.
  • Change management skills and ability to work in ambiguous situations, including the ability to influence others to adapt to a changing environment is required.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) are required.
  • Knowledge of other technological solutions or programs to manage and visualize data is required.
