What You’ll Do
Lead & Mentor: Supervise and train a team of technicians—fostering skill development, providing guidance, and reinforcing quality standards
Diagnostics & Repair: Use technical manuals and schematics to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and cooling system issues, and perform accurate repairs
Maintenance Execution: Oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment—including vehicles, handling systems, or tactical gear—ensuring everything is in top condition
Quality & Compliance: Validate work according to procedures, document all tasks, and maintain operational logs—ensuring regulatory and contractual accuracy at or above a 95% productivity threshold
Safety & Housekeeping: Champion safety protocols, maintain clean and organized workstations, and ensure all areas are “leaned-out,” standardized, and properly maintained
Continuous Improvement: Engage with company-led improvement programs (CIP/QA), contribute to training initiatives, and support process enhancements
Communication: Coordinate with clients, provide status and issue updates, and handle daily administrative tasks like inventory management and tool accountability
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in mechanical inspection, repair, and maintenance—preferably with tactical/commercial vehicles or heavy-duty equipment
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable reading and applying technical manuals/schematics, performing diagnostics across various systems, and executing maintenance with precision.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor, guide, and lift team performance.
Safety & Documentation: Strong track record maintaining high safety standards and meticulous documentation.
Flexibility: Willing to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, or overtime as needed.
Licenses & Education: Valid driver’s license required; CDL or specialized endorsements preferred (if applicable to role specifics).
