Job Description

We’re seeking a

Responsibilities

• Create fast-paced, engaging videos aligned with the channel’s established style
  
• Edit content to a high standard, matching or exceeding our quality benchmark: Keep Productive YouTube Channel
  
• Work from a brief to deliver V1 drafts and incorporate feedback into V2 revisions
  
• Edit and export videos in multiple formats (long-form, tutorials, standard, thought-pieces)
  
• Deliver 1–3 completed videos daily, depending on complexity
  
• Upload drafts and final edits to Google Drive for review and feedback
  
• Adapt editing style across formats while maintaining consistency with brand identity
  
• Stay current with top-performing YouTube trends to guide creative direction
  
• Suggest improvements to briefs based on algorithm shifts and best practices
  

• Fluent English (spoken and written)
  
• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of YouTube or social media content
  
• Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent)
  
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement through editing
  
• Ability to work quickly and maintain quality under tight deadlines
  
• Familiarity with YouTube optimization, formatting, and algorithm considerations
  
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple edits daily
  
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while following briefs and established guidelines
  
• Knowledge of trending editing styles and ability to apply them effectively across formats
