Requirements

The Senior Business Data Analyst will play a strategic role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves leading complex data analyses, mentoring junior analysts, and collaborating with leadership teams to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and deliver high-impact business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Data Analysis & Insights
- Perform deep-dive analysis on large and complex datasets to uncover business trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate data into strategic insights to support executive decision-making.
Stakeholder Management & Strategy Support
- Partner with senior leadership across departments (Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing, etc.).
- Influence business strategy with evidence-based recommendations.
Reporting & Visualization
- Design, automate, and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Data Governance & Quality
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Define KPIs, measurement frameworks, and performance tracking systems.
Process Optimization & Innovation
- Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions to optimize business operations.
- Drive automation and predictive analytics initiatives using advanced tools.
Mentorship & Leadership
- Guide and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of data literacy.
- Lead cross-functional data projects from requirement gathering to delivery.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
5–8+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics-focused roles.
Strong expertise in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
Proficiency in Python, R, or SAS for advanced analytics and modeling.
Experience with statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
