Job Overview:
The Laravel Developer is responsible for designing and developing high-quality web applications using Laravel and React.js. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Laravel, PHP, React.js, and web development best practices, with hands-on experience in Laravel projects, and should be comfortable working both independently and within a team setting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance web applications using Laravel and React.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and developers, to build and enhance applications.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Provide technical mentorship and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
- Troubleshoot and optimize applications for scalability, security, and performance.
- Implement and manage RESTful APIs for seamless front-end and back-end integration.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure development efforts align with business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7 years of experience in PHP development with Laravel and strong expertise in React.js.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies and state management Redux, Context API.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and database design principles.
- Proficiency in Git for version control.
- Strong knowledge of web security, performance optimization, and SEO principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Leadership role in a collaborative office setting.
- May require occasional after-hours support for critical issues.
