Team Lead – Nostro and Sundry Reconciliation is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end reconciliation process of Nostro and Sundry accounts to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The role involves supervising a team of analysts, ensuring timely identification and resolution of discrepancies, and maintaining effective controls over Nostro & Sundry accounts. The Team Lead will also collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, contribute to process enhancements, drive automation initiatives, and support audit and reporting requirements to ensure smooth, error-free BAU operations.

• Lead and supervise a team handling Nostro and Sundry reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
•  Ensure all reconciliation activities meet internal control standards, regulatory requirements, and agreed SLAs.
• Monitor and resolve high-value breaks and aged items through coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders
• Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and strengthen control
•  Analyze team performance and staff productivity to maintain consistent delivery of high-quality output.
• Ensure audit readiness by maintaining complete documentation and addressing audit requirements effectively.
• Prepare and deliver timely reports on reconciliation status, risks, and exceptions to senior management.
• SOP documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure root cause analysis for Errors and feedback to user to improve accuracy.
• Mentor and train junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and development.

Participate in projects aimed at optimizing reconciliation processes.

 

1. Graduate with minimum 5 years of banking experience and 3 years in centralized reconciliations.
2. Good communication and inter-personal skills coupled with leadership, analytical and computer skills.
3. Sound knowledge of payment flows (TLM, SWIFT, FLEX, T24 etc)
4. Audit & Risk Awareness.
5. Hands-on experience on Reconciliation tools & MS Office
