This is your chance to be part of an in-house Brands team of industry experts in the domains of hospitality, brand management, innovation, food and beverage, wellness, owner relations, and more, for all of Hilton's unique brands!

What will I be doing?

The Vice President of Owner Relations leads the Owner Relations team across the US and Canada. This role will report to the SVP of Brand Management Americas and will oversee Owner Support, Owner Engagement and Owner Account Management. The VP is responsible for ensuring that the Owner Relations team adds value to both hotels and owners by identifying performance opportunities, ensuring key initiatives are activated at the property level, serving as a bridge between owners and the enterprise, and advocating for owners when prioritizing, launching, and refining key programs and initiatives.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Advocate for owners' interests within the company, ensuring that their needs, concerns, and expectations are understood and addressed.
  • Monitor the performance of owner and management company property portfolios, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as NUG growth, Stay Score, RSI, and RPI.
  • Identify areas for improvement and work with owners and management company team teams to implement strategies that optimize property performance and profitability.
  • Maintain 2-way dialogue with Brand Category Heads, Brand Leaders, and Commercial program owners, HSM, Development, AD&C, Technology teams, etc., ensuring owner feedback is incorporated.
  • Structure the Owner Relations team to add value to hotels and owners and establish a consistent approach (e.g. routines, materials, etc.) to drive key enterprise priorities including NUG, RPI, customer promise and owner margin.
  • Evaluate and enhance owner engagement touchpoints, benefits, and recognition to ensure that Hilton is the first choice for owners

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Serve as a liaison between owners and the enterprise including Development, Brands, Operations, Commercial Leaders, and Technology.
  • Align with the communications team to enhance owner communications strategy and delivery.
  • Engage in conversations with Owners and Management Companies to support QA processes and FRCM initiatives.
  • Coordinate across the BMA verticals (BPS, Platforms, QA, etc.) to ensure programs supporting owner and management companies are efficiently executed via property-facing teams and technology
  • Cascade key insights from owners (captured via owner sentiment reports and owner events) to relevant internal partners

What initiatives you will take ownership of:

  • Lead the Owner Relations team and drive owner centricity across Hilton.
  • Maintain an active leadership role in top-to-top account management of Ownership groups and Managements Companies with fee, NUG and portfolio growth, identify hotel performance opportunities and ensure key initiatives are activated at the property level.
  • Deliver on our Customer Promise by deploying strategies to drive Stay Score, RSIand RPI; engage with owners to be the hospitality partner of choice while holding them accountable to operational excellence.
  • Evolve owner engagement strategy (e.g. Owners Club, Owners Conference, Industry/Partner Events, Portfolio Reviews, etc.) to better leverage touchpoints to drive greater accountability and outcomes against key measurements of success (NUG growth, guest experience, commercial performance)

Success will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

  • Establish an owner and management company account management model to deepen Hilton's relationships with owners.
  • Drive greater owner engagement by strengthening relationships within a franchise model

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Fifteen (15) years of experience in owner relations, account management, asset management, or related roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Ten (10) years of managerial experience and building and motivating teams.
  • Deep understanding of hotel development processes including financing, construction, and operations, and understanding of real estate principles.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% to meet with property owners and visit properties, domestic and international

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Experience serving owners and customers for a hospitality, travel, restaurant, or credit card company.
  • Experience leading projects with a strategic focus, coupled with advanced account management expertise to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth.
  • Experience managing relationships within a franchise model, ensuring alignment and collaboration between franchisees and corporate leadership.
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
