In this role, you will:
The Solution Engineer - Spec is responsible for designing and delivering IT solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and propel the architecture toward desired future states. This role involves being a technical expert on solution design, development, and implementation to address specific business needs while maintaining stability and usability across systems.
Analyze functionality and constraints of proposed solutions to ensure compatibility and interoperability across multiple platforms and applications.
Employ strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess business requirements and provide fitting solutions.
Utilize Agile Methodology and DevOps practices to ensure seamless systems integration and effective workflow management.
Stay adept in cloud technologies, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, to offer scalable solutions within the scope of cloud computing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and objectives, coordinating to achieve successful outcomes.
Leverage communication and storytelling skills to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders effectively.
Conduct risk analysis and planning to mitigate potential issues in the design and implementation phases, adhering to best practices in solution architecture.
Demonstrate expertise in software engineering and automation to streamline business processes and maintain technical excellence.
Integration Strategy and Architecture: Develop and define integration strategies for Kinaxis and other interconnected systems at Kimberly-Clark, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across platforms.
Comprehensive Planning Landscape Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the planning landscape, particularly the Kinaxis solution footprint, with expertise in both Demand and Supply planning processes to inform integration efforts.
Leadership in Integration Diagnostics: Lead and facilitate integration diagnostics, conducting As-Is process analysis and To-Be design discussions. Create detailed solution design documents that outline integration requirements and technical specifications.
Functional Specifications for Integration: Develop, review, and enhance functional specifications and design documents focused on integration, providing critical input to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet business needs.
System Evaluation and Integration Opportunities: Assess existing systems and tools to identify integration opportunities, recommending enhancements that improve system performance and data coherence.
Experience with Integration Solutions: Demonstrate experience in supporting integration solutions for Demand and Supply planning within large global manufacturers or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies.
Configuration and Implementation of Integration Solutions: Exhibit the ability to configure and implement integration solutions using Kinaxis and other relevant technologies, ensuring successful integration and data synchronization.
Influencing Integration Technology Decisions: Utilize industry experience to influence technology decisions related to integration, sharing best practices and methodologies to enhance system connectivity and efficiency.
End-User Training on Integrated Solutions: Conduct and facilitate end-user training sessions focused on integrated solutions, ensuring users understand how to leverage interconnected systems effectively.
Collaboration with Support Services: Actively follow up on integration-related cases opened with Kinaxis Support Services to assist in resolving defects and improving the overall integration functionality for the business.

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Education required: bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or similar fields MBA/master’s degree or equivalent in Supply chain / Logistics is preferred
12+ years of experience in implementing supply chain solutions with a strong focus on integration (Min 5 Years) in Kinaxis Solution Engineer roles, including Snowflake hands on expertise · Proven experience in supply chain planning solutions is mandatory. Strategic landscape and integrations definition, long-term technology road mapping, and project delivery leadership experience are required.
Comprehensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including Supply, Forecasting, Demand Planning, and Demand Sensing
Extensive experience in overseeing integrations between Kinaxis, Snowflake and SAP S4 HANA/SAP ECC, including data flow design and system interoperability.
Knowledge of cloud technologies, data architecture, and enterprise integration patterns is desirable · Acts as a strategic liaison, facilitating key discussions between DTS, Kinaxis teams, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals.
Proven experience in leading and collaborating with diverse, cross-cultural teams across various geographies to identify challenges, gather requirements, and drive design & architectural decisions.
Strong ability to navigate ambiguous situations, demonstrating a proactive approach to clarify requirements and foster collaboration among multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills; adept at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a focus on influencing and guiding stakeholders towards effective technology solutions.
