What you will do:
We are seeking a commercially astute, client-centric, and execution-driven Vice President, Capital Markets to join our Bermuda-based team. This is a senior-level role for a professional with 10+ years of experience in capital markets, (re)insurance, investment banking, ILS funds, or audit/accountancy with capital markets focus.
You will play a pivotal role in client engagement, investor relations, and transaction execution, while also contributing to internal systems development and strategic growth initiatives. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable operating independently while collaborating across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their capital, reinsurance, and strategic needs.
- Lead client engagements from onboarding through to execution and delivery.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and investors.
- Deliver client-centric business reviews and strategic account plans.
- Represent the firm at industry events and client meetings globally.
Deal Structuring & Execution
- Originate, structure, and support the execution of capital markets transactions (debt, equity, hybrid, ILS).
- Lead deal due diligence, documentation review, and client communications.
- Develop and present client pitch decks.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and advisors to ensure seamless execution.
Investor Relations & Business Development
- Build and manage a network of institutional investors.
- Develop strategic communications with asset managers and investor partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the (re)insurance and capital markets landscape.
- Contribute to cross-selling and growth initiatives across the broader Price Forbes Re Group.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Oversee KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Develop and implement internal systems including:
- Client triage frameworks
- Pipeline management tools
- Investor relationship management systems
- Shared directories and standardized templates (pitch decks, models, IP libraries)
What you will bring:
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years in capital markets, (re)insurance, investment banking, ILS, capital markets focused accounting/audit, or related fields.
- Proven success in client-facing roles with a strong commercial orientation.
- Deep understanding of capital structures, reinsurance, and alternative risk transfer.
- Experience with institutional investors and complex financial transactions.
- Familiarity with Bermuda and global regulatory frameworks.
