About the Aftersales Department

BYD Aftersales Service Center is dedicated to delivering service and repair solutions for all BYD-branded electric and hybrid vehicles. This encompasses, among other responsibilities, the development of a comprehensive after-sales service network across Europe to ensure technical support, warranty services, and spare parts supply for our customers and service partners. The primary goal of the Aftersales Service Center is to enhance customer satisfaction and foster brand loyalty. We are now seeking a talented Senior Aftersales Operations Specialist to join our team, based in Hungary, to drive excellence in our aftersales services across European markets.

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for optimizing aftersales service systems, managing critical operational data, and leading key projects to enhance service quality, customer satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency of the Aftersales Department. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth aftersales operations and supporting BYD’s mission of building a clean-energy future.

Key Responsibilities

1. Aftersales Service System Development

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of aftersales business processes to identify operational pain points in service delivery, dealer collaboration, and internal workflows.
  • Design, establish, and continuously optimize the aftersales service system, including service protocols, process standards, and operational frameworks.
  • Drive effective implementation of optimization solutions through cross-functional coordination, training, and on-site guidance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the achievement and improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Aftersales Service Center, such as service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost management.

2. Aftersales Data Operations

  • Manage aftersales business data analysis and performance monitoring for passenger and commercial vehicles across regional markets and dealer networks.
  • Collect, clean, and integrate multi-source data (e.g., service records, customer feedback, dealer performance metrics, and operational costs).
  • Develop and maintain visual dashboards for key market operation indicators, providing real-time insights into service completion rates, first-time fix rates, complaint resolution efficiency, and dealer evaluation scores.
  • Regularly (monthly/quarterly) generate data analysis reports with actionable recommendations to support data-driven operational decision-making for management and stakeholders.

3. Operational Project Management

  • Take ownership of project management for key operational initiatives within the Aftersales Service Center, such as service process digitalization, dealer performance improvement, and customer experience enhancement projects.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including task breakdowns, timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure on-time execution, resolve obstacles, and conduct post-implementation reviews to guarantee successful outcome delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Operations Management, Automotive Engineering).

Language Proficiency

  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal) as a working language; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.

Professional Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience in strategy development and process innovation within aftersales or service operations.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data, build visualizations, and derive actionable insights.
  • Proven expertise in aftersales project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.

Work Experience

  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in aftersales regional management, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Preferred: Experience in developing aftersales service strategies for overseas automotive companies.
  • Preferred: Project management experience in digital platform development for aftersales services.
