About the Aftersales Department

BYD Aftersales Service Center is dedicated to delivering service and repair solutions for all BYD-branded electric and hybrid vehicles. This encompasses, among other responsibilities, the development of a comprehensive after-sales service network across Europe to ensure technical support, warranty services, and spare parts supply for our customers and service partners. The primary goal of the Aftersales Service Center is to enhance customer satisfaction and foster brand loyalty. We are now seeking a skilled Channel Management Specialist to join our team, based in Hungary, to strengthen our aftersales channel operations across European markets.

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for developing aftersales supplies, optimizing channel standards, and managing key channel projects to enhance service capabilities, ensure consistent service quality across channels, and drive operational excellence in the Aftersales Department. You will play a critical role in supporting BYD’s aftersales network development and mission of building a clean-energy future.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplies Development

  • Develop solutions for aftersales service supplies and channel-specific materials based on market demand analysis.
  • Conduct supplier screening, development, and quality management to ensure reliable supply chains.
  • Coordinate material orders and delivery plans, ensuring on-time arrival of materials that meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain effective communication to address supply-related issues proactively.

2. Channel Management

  • Develop and optimize LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) and key customer channel standards based on market development needs.
  • Coordinate the standardized implementation of aftersales service store images, facility configurations, and channel materials.
  • Monitor project implementation effects, continuously improve channel terminal service capabilities and overall operational quality.
  • Regularly collect and organize data from various service channels, establishing and maintaining channel information archives.

3. Channel Project Management

  • Undertake project management for key channel-related initiatives within the Aftersales Service Center.
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and channel partners.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including task breakdowns, timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Lead project execution, resolve obstacles, and conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure successful outcome delivery.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Studies).

Language Proficiency

  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal) as a working language; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.

Professional Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience in aftersales project management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong capabilities in procurement resource development, supplier management, and quality control.
  • Proven expertise in regional management and channel management, including standard setting and operational optimization.

Work Experience

  • Preferred: Experience in aftersales regional management within the automotive industry.
  • Preferred: Experience in vehicle key customer service and channel management for commercial vehicles, LCVs, or passenger cars.
  • Familiarity with aftersales service network operations and supply chain management is advantageous.
