POSITION OBJECTIVES: Assisting the Table Games manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Table Games department, ensuring a high level of Guest service, compliance with gaming regulations, and efficient management of staff and resources.

JOB SUMMARY: During designated shift, The Table Games Assistant Manager ensures that the Casino is in compliance with Tribal-State Compact and Appendix A, ordinances and all Casino internal control policies and department procedures. Serve as the Table Games Manager in the absence of that individual.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required skills and knowledge:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Management courses through an accredited university, community college or in-house training course
- 3 years of Table Games management work experience
- 5 years of supervisory experience in a casino table games department
- Knowledge of all table games, internal controls and standard operating procedures of the Nisqually Red Wind Casino
- Knowledge of Title 31
- Basic math skills
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred skills and knowledge:
- Certification in Red Wind’s “Service First “Program
- Multi-Cultural experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand or sit for assigned shift
- Manual and finger dexterity
- Ability to tolerate a noisy, smoke-filled environment, fast-paced environment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Knowledge of departmental Guest Service Standards
- Train, mentor, and evaluate table games staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor game integrity and security, addressing any issues that arise.
- Knowledge of casino promotions
- Safeguard company assets located within the Casino
- Attend to any guest disputes that arise within the Table Games Department
- Enforce rules and regulations of the Tribal Gaming Commission
- Responsible for creating weekly Team member schedule
- Assign daily road maps for Dealers and Supervisors
- Distribute gaming equipment to respective supervisors and gaming stations
- Handle guest and Team Member relations
- Advise and brief Table Games Manager and Gaming Director on day-to-day operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
