  • 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
  • Experience with client side development.
  • Experience with graphics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Android and/or iOS development.
  • Experience with performance and reliability.
  • Experience with software architecture.
  • Experience with web development.
  • Experience with Google Maps.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design for client-side rendering solutions intersecting the scope of the Google Maps Mobile, Maps SDK and Auto.
  • Collaborate with Seattle, Mountain View and Bangalore partner teams that are working on building out the new map experiences and platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with peers and cross-functional partners across timezones to deliver on Geo-level strategic priority.
  • Develop and leverage client-side rendering expertise to make direct technical contributions to the code base following best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, maintainability and efficiency).
