Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, including OEMs, EPCs, consultants, and end-users in the Datacenter, Enterprise and C&I Segment. 
  • Understanding customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions. 
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product demonstrations according to prospects 
  • Providing technical support to the sales team and customers. 
  • Developing and delivering technical presentations and proposals. 
  • Configuring solutions and ensuring they meet customer needs, Create competitive offerings and solution to get a preference from customer thru relationship and solution aspects 
  • Preparing electrical drawings, wiring, and cable plans using AutoCAD. 
  • Working closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets. 
  • Tracking sales metrics and providing reports to management. 
  • Potentially managing & Supporting a sales team, including hiring, training, and performance management. 
  • Negotiating and closing deals, ensuring alignment with both customer and company needs
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities. 
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. 
  • Identifying new business opportunities and potential markets. 
  • Representing the company at trade shows and industry events. 
  • Writing Technical proposals, reports and sales literature as needed. 

Key Skills and Qualification :

  • Strong technical knowledge of switchgear, automation, and other electrical equipment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling and value-based solutions.
  • Working Experience with AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Experience with specific switchgear manufacturers (e.g., Siemens, Eaton, Schneider Electric) is highly desired

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
    • Engineering Graduate (BTech/BE) from Electrical, disciplines with strong adaptability.
    • Technology streams in IT/Datacenter Industry.
    • MBA in Marketing specialization may be preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • 8 to 12 years of experience in a relevant industry, with demonstrated success within business development, and market expansion.
    • Proven experience in leading company who are in business of switchgear, Switchboards, Electrical Systems and Controls and Power Management
