Cherokee Casino Fort Gibson is looking for a Surveillance Supervisor! In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including acting as the primary point of contact for the Surveillance staff regarding emergencies and equipment malfunctions. You will work with various departments and agencies, such as Internal Audit, the Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission, and Security, to perform services and provide information. This role involves supervising and guiding employees, including creating schedules, tracking performance, issuing corrective actions, and participating in the hiring process. You will also be responsible for creating and analyzing reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Act as the initial point of communication for the Surveillance staff regarding emergencies, suspicious activity, and equipment malfunctions.
- Interact professionally with all levels of management and other agencies to provide information and process requests.
- Create, analyze, and submit weekly audit reports concerning policy violations.
- Engage in two-way communication with all levels of Surveillance staff regarding daily operations.
- Ensure all projects and tasks meet departmental standards and deadlines.
- Coach, engage, and discipline employees, including issuing corrective actions.
- Track job performance and attendance, and issue annual performance appraisals.
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Ensure all regulatory standards are maintained.
- Create reports detailing departmental productivity statistics.
- Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing candidates.
- Remain fully versed regarding all regulatory standards, such as NIGC MICS and CNGC TICS.
- Adhere to confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Handle prompt notification of any system or equipment malfunction.
- Inspect and maintain proper chain of custody and storage procedures for all video evidence
- Associate's Degree in a related field and completion of the Surveillance Professional Development Series within the first 6 months of employment.
- At least 4 years of relevant leadership experience supervising others.
- Experience in preparing and/or reviewing investigative reports.
- Experience with Video Management software (e.g., Milestone, ONSSI, Genetec) and other IP related surveillance tools.
- Cherokee Nation Gaming and/or Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission License required.
- Working knowledge of NIGC, CNGC, OHRC, and State Compact standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with departmental policies and procedures for topics like Gaming Operations, Security, and Food and Beverage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio), iView/iTrak reporting software, and other related casino reporting software.
- Must be able to lift and carry 10 lbs
