The role:
We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic Sourcing & Procurement team, supporting strategic sourcing functions across a diverse portfolio of categories. This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement strategic sourcing, category management, and supply management strategies that deliver best value outcomes for JLL and our clients.
As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients, playing a core role in sourcing activities while supporting our bid and sales initiatives.
This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate based in either our corporate office in either Melbourne or Sydney CBD at least 3 days a week.
Snapshot of the roles:
- Establish, lead and execute category plans, strategies and frameworks to meet client needs and expectations
- Present sourcing project outcomes and key recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers
- Develop optimal sourcing strategies achieving consistent, quality outcomes across JLL's diverse client base
- Conduct negotiations on critical, complex supply arrangements and manage contract negotiations
- Manage key contracts and their administration while ensuring optimal vendor delivery
- Identify and evaluate new market trends and opportunities to deliver strategic procurement decisions
- Provide advice to key stakeholders and clients on all aspects of procurement category strategy
- Report on procurement activity in terms of progress, results, client satisfaction, value and cost

Requirements:
- Tertiary education in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related fields
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing and negotiation
- Work experience with exposure to IFM (integrated facilities management) principles and/or experience will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels
- Experience in financial modelling, feasibility studies and total cost of ownership analysis
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Sound proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
