In this position...
Lead Critical Supplier Process to drive Supplier Quality Reject (QR) performance improvement.
Participate in Whiteboard reviews and assigned sub-system VRT (Variability Reduction Team) meetings. Drive resolution of external supplier process -1MIS and 0MIS warranty concerns.
Support QR procedures by supporting concern binning, reviewing threshold QRs, and providing support for QR Dispute resolution. Assist the Incoming Quality (IQ) department with non-responsive suppliers. Assist suppliers and plants in QR/PPM (Parts Per Million) data accuracy.
What you'll do...
· Facilitate Top Supplier process.
· Participate in Whiteboard, VRT meetings etc. as needed on an exception basis. Drive resolution of external
supplier process zero MIS warranty concerns through ECB binning, supplier notification, and driving containment
at the supplier.
· Support QR (Quality Reject) procedures, by supporting concern binning, reviewing threshold QR’s, and providing
support for dispute resolution. Assist IQ with non- responsive suppliers. Assist suppliers and plants in QR/PPM
(Parts Per Million) data accuracy. Administer part quality confirmation process for suppliers with repetitive
containment failure.
· Lead containment through completion of special cause supplier process zero MIS BSAQ (Balanced Single
Agenda for Quality) projects.
· Support Global Quality status reporting by driving timely closure and accuracy of Top Warranty issues.
· Align with VRT (Variability Reduction Team) on SP (Supplier Process) BSAQ Glidepath values.
· Provide early notification to and engage STA Site team on potential stop shipments which are related to supplier
process. Provide support in containing supplier stop ship issue. Assist STA Site team with vehicle on hold and
release process tracking. Work with Stop Ship Stakeholders to support proper root cause owner is identified for
PAC (Prevent Action Closure).
· Monitor daily production report and provide notification to STA management for issues that require site STA
awareness/intervention.
· Act as direct PVT (Plant Vehicle Team) resident supplier representative and liaison between STA and plant
management, support Daily Plant Quality Meeting to report on containment of SP ECB (Early Concern Binning)
issues, participate in VRT (Variability Reduction Team) forums, lead supplier preparation for VQR’s (Vehicle
Quality Review).
You'll have...
· Bachelor of Science/ Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude
· 2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience
· Quality experience
· Strong communication and team building
· Be proficient in English when working with global teams

· Experience leading multiple complex assignments with demanding timelines
· Knowledge of problem-solving tools
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes
· Ability to develop and present materials to senior leadership with short timelines
· Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified

This position is a range of salary grades 7 and 8.
