Description
This position serves as a member of a cross-functional team consisting of individuals from various departments and business units. Provides specialty expertise to management from various departments. Has the ability to effectively deal with evolving and competing objectives and possesses a strong ability to organize and communicate project priorities. Experienced with gathering and understanding business needs and transforming them into technical requirements.
Develops and maintains basic project plans, weekly status updates and provides problem resolution. Responsible for ensuring projects are within scope and meet time targets. Must be familiar with the role and function of team members to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Communicates with appropriate staff/leadership regarding status of specific needs.
Requirements
Major Duties And Responsibilities:
- Effectively articulate business need and process analysis to IT technical resources for solution creation.
- Provide oversight and operational knowledge of assigned projects, with an emphasis on improving efficiency through technology and automation.
- Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives, leveraging automation tools such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline operations and reduce manual workload.
- Champion the use of automation, standardization, and best practices to optimize business processes and improve scalability.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrates the ability to work with and lead technical and non-technical staff and leadership across all levels in the department.
- Operational involvement in implementation of project deliverables, which may include, software configuration, business rule development, system upgrades, and establishing operational procedures.
- Demonstrates experience in managing complex, evolving and competing objectives.
- Demonstrates experience with managing enterprise-wide projects, including managing third party staff, working through contractual issues, etc.
- Possesses an understanding of business analysis and project management tools and methodologies.
- Ensures projects/requirements are within scope and meet time and budget targets.
- Influences team members, peers and stakeholders to meet the objectives of the project.
- Demonstrates strong organization, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and time management.
- Communicates with appropriate staff/leadership regarding status and impacts of projects.
- Measures and reports progress frequently.
- Facilitation of internal IT process management and tools (i.e., critical path tracking, contingency planning, operational workflow documentation/refinement.)
Supervisory Requirements:
- Must be highly motivated and have skills that foster individual development and a collaborative team culture.
- Oversight of tasks completed by vendors relating to technology assets and services.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- 2+ years related analyst and project experience.
- 1+ years related experience in the Financial Services and/or Loan Servicing industry with a focus on Operations.
- SQL experience is preferred
- Demonstrably excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Planning and project coordination experience with the ability to travel 25% or more.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to document business process to produce technology driven solutions and automation.
- General understanding of modern programming methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Critical thinking and demonstrated problem solving techniques.
- Ability to function effectively under extreme pressure and/or in very stressful situations when trouble shooting technology, matters frustrating employees and/or clients requiring immediate services.
- Strong results orientation with a dedicated client / user focus.
- Demonstrated desire and ability to stay abreast of current technology management trends and concepts.
- Professional Project Management Certification from accredited institution preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines for others.
- Strong comfort level with technology, including ability to adapt to new systems quickly and easily. Thorough knowledge of and comfort with the Microsoft office suite applications.

- Physical Strength - Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
