Job purpose:


The Learning and Development manager role will be tackling the below responsibilities for Jordan, Iraq and other sites as needed. It focuses on designing, developing, and executing effective learning solutions to Hikma employees inclusive of continuing education, instructor led courses, team building activities…. etc.

Key Responsibilities:


• Perform and evaluate learning needs analysis at site, department, and individual levels in alignment with group and site strategic direction and priorities. And respond to learning needs that achieve site L&D objectives while ensuring control and optimization of L&D budget in coordination with People Partner and L&D Center of Excellence
• Engage frequently with business stakeholders and act as an advisor in performance and employee development aspects
• Design, develop, manage, and execute impactful solutions to tackle learning needs including but not limited to classroom courses, psychometric assessments, reflection sessions, work assignments, job rotation and shadowing plans and micro learning sessions
• Manage users’ learning needs, plans and activities through Learning Management System and enable employees to utilize available global and site-specific learning solutions
• Plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate instructor led training sessions to diverse groups in Hikma
• Guide and support employees and managers in developing customized development plans to tackle performance gaps
• Identify, manage, and evaluate partnerships with local vendors to source effective and efficient solutions meeting clearly outlined learning needs
• Track and report L&D analytics to key stakeholders and engage them in outlining L&D strategic direction
• Coordinate the launch of continuing education program and other L&D global/regional initiatives and facilitate their execution within the relevant sites
• Support with the execution of organization development programs and operations such as employee experience surveys, performance management and talent development among others

Experience, qualifications & skills:


• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, pharmacy, psychology or any other relevant field
• Minimum: 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, 4 of which in sales and marketing
• Proven record of practical experience in learning or people development
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Instructional design skills and ability to develop well-constructed stories
• Project management and ability to plan, organize and lead the execution of learning and development initiatives
• Excellent command of English and Arabic
