Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-obsessed, solutions-driven NetSuite Systems Administrator to take full ownership of our NetSuite ERP environment. This role is mission-critical to ensuring data accuracy, system stability, and operational agility across all departments. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, responsive, and proactive in driving system integrity, while maintaining a user-centric focus. This is a fully onsite role—collaboration, accountability, and immediacy are key to our operational success
Requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Mentor and support junior systems analysts or ERP support staff as assigned.
· Influence IT decision-making by presenting data-driven system insights and recommendations to leadership.
· Assist in recruiting and onboarding future systems personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
· System Ownership & Integrity: Own the full administration of our NetSuite platform, ensuring accuracy of data, clean configurations, and proper function of all modules.
· Proactive Issue Resolution: Detect and resolve system discrepancies before they impact business operations; anticipate issues rather than react.
· Customization & Optimization: Build workflows, dashboards, reports, and automations tailored to evolving business needs using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics.
· Agile Support & Responsiveness: Serve as the go-to expert for urgent system issues, user requests, and configuration changes—ensuring response times and resolution meet operational demands.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and HR to translate operational needs into system solutions; act as a strategic technology advisor to business leaders.
· Training & Documentation: Create SOPs, user documentation, and deliver hands-on training to ensure high adoption and consistency across all levels of the organization.
· Governance & Security: Maintain strict control over user roles, permissions, and audit trails to safeguard data and enforce compliance.
· Vendor & Project Management: Manage third-party consultants, integrations, and upgrade initiatives aligned to NetSuite release schedules.
Competencies:
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the NetSuite platform, including its configurations, scripting, and customization capabilities.
Problem-Solving: Aptitude to address and resolve system-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Communication Skills: Capability to convey technical details in a clear, comprehensible manner to non-technical users.
Analytical Acumen: Ability to analyze user needs and system functionalities to achieve a coherent alignment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Extensive experience with ERP administration, preferably NetSuite.
• Knowledge of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and other NetSuite customization tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with NetSuite’s module setup, configuration, and best practices.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• NetSuite Administrator Certification is highly preferred.
• At least 4-6 years of experience working with NetSuite or a similar ERP platform.
Physical Requirements:
• Primarily an office-based role with prolonged periods spent at a desk.
• Periodic meetings with users might require moving between different office sections.
Work Environment:
• Corporate office setting with frequent interactions with different department users.
• Regular collaboration with IT teams, both internal and external.
