- $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

Purpose of Position
Help assist Varsity Esports Head Coach with day-to-day activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain the schedules for the Varsity Esports Program and the athletes Tasks involved in fulfilling the above duties/responsibilities (include description for physical and mental/cognitive demands)
- Create practice schedules for all teams (up to 24) with date, time and location.
- Create match schedules for all teams (up to 24) with date, time and location.
- Create broadcast schedules including who will be managing the stream and the two broadcasters.
- Create other scheduled events in the program including but not limited to program events, meetings, LAN tournaments and other events.
- Reschedule practices/matches that no longer fit for the team or players.
- Help lead coaching efforts with Team Captains Tasks involved in fulfilling the above duties/responsibilities (include description for physical and mental/cognitive demands)
- Create practice outlines for all titles in the NDVE program.
- Communicate with captains on a weekly basis to see how practices are going, and if any changes to practice outline should be made in the future.
- Research different strategies in all titles to help teams gain a competitive edge.
- Communicate strategies with the captains and teams.
- Assist Esports Head Coach in daily activities Tasks involved in fulfilling the above duties/responsibilities (include description for physical and mental/cognitive demands)
- Being flexible with time to help Head Coach with various activities that need to be done. This includes but is not limited to: Help manage and step in for broadcasters and stream operators. Attend meetings with Esports Head Coach when available.
- Assist Esports Social Media Manager with running and maintaining NDVE social media accounts.
- Assists Head Coach in campus visits/recruitment Help find on campus students interested in the Varsity Esports Program.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a public college
Experience in team leadership/coaching
Some knowledge in each of these titles: League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty, Counter Strike 2, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate and Marvel Rivals.
