Summary: The College of Health, Education, and Social Transformation has two Tenure-Track Assistant Professor positions in Kinesiology available to begin in the Fall 2026. NMSU is an equal opportunity employer

Job Duties and Responsibilities
1) The faculty member must be able to provide undergraduate and graduate instruction in Exercise Physiology and related areas.
2) Maintain a productive research program with attempted internal and external funding.
3) Advise and mentor undergraduate and PhD students.
4) Collaborate with faculty to oversee research laboratories.
5) Participate in faculty governance through department, college, and university service.
Preferred Qualifications
1) Show evidence of high-quality instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
2) Conduct research in Biochemistry and Molecular Physiology, and provide evidence of the ability to secure external funding.
3) Possess the ability to recruit and mentor graduate students.
4) Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
