The Role
We are seeking a commercially astute, strategically bold, and execution-driven category leader to transform our Value-Added Products & Services (VAPS) business into a high-performing, customer-centric growth engine. The portfolio currently focused on wipers, cabin filters, and rain repellent is set to double in size over the next five years through channel excellence, portfolio innovation, and market expansion.
This role holds full commercial and strategic responsibility for the VAPS category, shaping its direction, driving omni-channel sales performance, and embedding solution-selling into every customer interaction. Working closely with the Head of Centre of Excellence and the Operations Team, the Category Manager will lead the shift from incremental upselling to a fully integrated, insight-led, omni-channel growth strategy building new products, channels, and customer segments while delivering outstanding financial results. Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Lead the category growth plan with full P&L responsibility
- Drive omni-channel sales performance, including a new digital growth engine
- Expand the portfolio through customer-led innovation and supplier partnerships
- Build category capability in the field and inspire solution-led selling
- Influence at all levels from frontline teams to senior leadership

- Proven record of delivering multi-year commercial growth in a product or category leadership role

- Strong track record of innovation, from concept through to commercialisation
- Exceptional influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience of both online and offline sales
- A track record in developing and implementing effective sales and procurement strategies to achieve business objectives and growth
- Self-awareness with a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- Computer literacy includes advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
