The Market Director plays a pivotal leadership role in ensuring exceptional client care delivery, driving market growth, and overseeing branch operations. This individual will serve as the primary face of Family Tree Private Care in the community, build and develop a high-performing team, and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence within the healthcare industry.


Key Responsibilities


Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team, including care staff, schedulers, and administrative personnel.
     
  • Foster a positive, results-driven culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
     
  • Coach team members to meet organizational performance standards and exceed client expectations.
     

Business Development & Community Engagement

  • Serve as the brand ambassador and primary liaison with key external stakeholders including elder law attorneys, wealth advisors, trust officers, and healthcare professionals.
     
  • Partner with the Business Development team to cultivate relationships with referral sources, senior living communities, and healthcare organizations.
     
  • Support high-level sales presentations and strategic partnerships to drive revenue and market share growth.
     

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure seamless execution of all branch operations, including scheduling, recruiting, compliance, client relations, billing, and payroll.
     
  • Resolve escalated client concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring efficient and thorough resolution.
     
  • Collaborate with the Case Manager and Nurse Case Manager teams to maintain consistent and high-quality care for clients.
     
  • Oversee compliance with state and federal regulations and participate in the bi-annual Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process.
     

Financial Accountability

  • Manage collections in partnership with the Accounting and Operations teams, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with company policies.
     
  • Ensure accurate billing and payroll in accordance with internal processes and deadlines.
     
  • Track, analyze, and report on operational and quality metrics such as client complaints, hospitalizations, discharges, and service outcomes.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
     
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within the home care, hospice, home health, or broader healthcare services industry.
     
  • Proven track record of managing teams, driving growth, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
     
  • Experience in employee management and regulatory compliance is strongly preferred.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management capabilities.
     

Other Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed.
     
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
     
  • Flexibility to respond to client or operational needs outside of standard business hours, when necessary.
