Are you looking for a dynamic and patient-focused work environment? Raleigh Radiology is seeking a dedicated Sr. Revenue Cycle Management Analyst to join our team for our freestanding outpatient imaging centers in Wake County, NC, and surrounding areas.

INTRODUCTION:

A. This position is located at Raleigh Radiology’s Business Support Office (Admin) location or hybrid.

B. The Senior Revenue Cycle Management Analyst is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, compliance, and reporting.

C. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial health and operational efficiency by analyzing data, identifying trends, and implementing strategic improvements. The analyst will also maintain regulatory compliance and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance revenue cycle performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revenue Cycle Operations

Oversee billing and collections processes to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce denials and optimize revenue.
Conduct regular audits to identify billing and coding errors, compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
Establish and maintain relationships with insurance companies, payers, and external vendors.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze revenue cycle data and KPIs to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to revenue cycle performance.
Generate and maintain revenue cycle reporting and analytics to monitor operations and cash flow.
Develop, improve, and issue monthly financial management reports.

Compliance & Controls

Stay current with healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and reimbursement policies.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

Process Improvement

Participate in revenue cycle improvement initiatives, including process redesign, system enhancements, and workflow optimization.
Analyze trends to determine variances and recommend process improvements.
Maintain databases required for routine and special reporting.
Train and support users on revenue cycle systems and tools.

Financial Support

Support the annual budget and forecast process.
Report significant budget variances to management.

Other Duties

a) Performs other duties as assigned

b) Cooperates and assists management and peers in the accomplishment of duties.

c) Maintain compliance with employment laws and best practices.

Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE

A. Education: Associates ' or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance preferred, or a related field, or in lieu of education requirement, 4 years of relevant experience in revenue cycle management.

B. Experience: Previous experience in the healthcare or hospital setting is required. 4+ years of progressively responsible experience and training. Experience managing outsourced RCM vendors.

C. Certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Biller (CPB), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), or similar backgrounds.
